Flow cytometric absolute counting of microparticles
Flow cytometric absolute counting of microparticles helps measure the absolute number of cells in a sample.
The flow absolute counting microparticle products are fluorescently stained microparticles or unstained microparticles with a particle size, provided as a suspension containing 1×10^6 microparticles per 1 mL. The microparticles are accurately counted using an electrical resistance particle counter and have a highly uniform particle size distribution and fluorescence intensity distribution (CV < 5%). Unstained absolute counting microparticles determine the absolute number of cells in the sample through scattered light signals. Internally stained fluorescent microparticles generate signals in common fluorescent channels such as FITC, PE, Cy5, APC, and Cy7, distinguishing them from the population of detected cells, and evaluating the ratio of detected fluorescent counting microparticles to cells to calculate the cell count. The product specifications for rainbow fluorescent microparticles with RB generate signals in all fluorescent channels and are suitable for cell counting in multicolor flow assays.
